Who We Are
The Mountain Shadows Community Association (MSCA) began in the early 1990's as the land was developed and a new neighborhood began. The MSCA is not a Home Owners Association (HOA). Instead, it is an organized voluntary group of neighbors working hard to enhance the quality of life for those living in Mountain Shadows.
The work of the Board of Directors includes communicating important information, providing information on covenants, promoting events, connecting with the community on issues of safety & security and listening to neighbors on issues impacting the majority quality of life for residents in Mountain Shadows.
Since the Waldo Canyon fire event of June, 2012, the MSCA has re-examined the strategic plan of business for the association. New action items have emerged as goals for the MSCA. A Communications Plan is being developed to provide the neighborhood with credible and important information. MSCA will use current technologies and social media to provide the communications. In addition, a Fund Development Plan will guide the association to a sound financial base. Sponsors will be sought to support the work of the MSCA and guarantee for the funding needs.
